A contact is a unique email address. You can create a contact with only an email address (no other information is needed). You cannot create a contact without an email address.
An email address counts as a single contact no matter how many lists the contact is subscribed to. You are only billed for the active contacts in your account (unsubscribed and bounced contacts do not count toward your contact total).

You can think of a deal as a qualified sales opportunity. Deals are not contacts that just sit in your database, rather, they are are contacts that are on track to become a patient or purchase more services from your practice.
In Dewy, deals can be created and managed in the deal pipeline. The deal pipeline is an organized area that is broken down into different stages that leads have to go through in order to become a patient.
Note: Within your deal pipeline, each stage is linked to a lead nurturing automation that our team has built specifically for your practice. This means that a new automation is triggered every time you drag and drop a patient from one stage to another.
During the set up process, our team will configure the right integrations with your web team, EMR or other lead sources to ensure that deals automatically populate in the respective pipeline.
