This article will show you how to update contact fields within your account. Deal and account fields can be updated by following the same steps, but by starting in the deal or account tabs, respectively.
Step-by-step guide to editing contact fields
Step 1: Navigate to contacts
In your Dewy account, navigate to the Contacts tab.
Then click "Fields" on the left hand menu under "Manage".
Step 2: Click the pencil icon to edit the field
Once you navigate to the fields tab, search for the field that you'd like to edit and click on the pencil icon.
Step 3: Edit the field and click save
After clicking on the pencil icon, edit the field and click "Save".
Important notes
We recommend adding new fields or deleting fields that you don't need versus editing existing fields. Editing existing fields can create problems with the automations, reports and search features.
